To keep you informed, we've decide to provide an RSS/Atom feed, and taken a web-log, or blog like approach to publishing news about MESOMOCO.

We'll publish news on our blog, we'll call the blog our 'Newsfeed' (news.mesomoco.org.uk).

We're using the term 'feed' because we use RSS (Really Simple Syndication), and Atom to publish our news.

This means that you can 'subscribe' (freely)to news from MESOMOCO using any available 'Newsreader'/'Feedreader' software, or web-pages, including, e.g., 'My Yahoo', 'Google', 'Windows Live', 'Newsgator '. So, if you happen to have 'My Yahoo' or 'Google News' as your home page, ... our News headlines can be made to automatically appear there, ... with all the rest of the 'stuff' you're interested in ... you simply click on the headlines that appeal to you, and you're taken to the full story. 

So, you can organise your MESOMOCO News, in one place, alongside all the other News you're interested in.

In this way, you can easily, keep up to date with whatever we're doing ... you can follow our progress as we build the enterprise and grow ... you can do this everytime you go and check the BBC news headlines, or your favourite blogs ( ... or any other, of your prefered, subscribed to, sources of information).

Also, because we're using a blog like format, you can interact with our News, just as you would with a blog. This means that, sometimes, you'll be able to add comments and take part in discussions. There is sorting by categories or tags (keywords); there are 'permalinks' for cross referencing; and there are archives to dig around in, or search; ... and if there is a posting or article you'd like to share with the wider-world ... you can submit it to social bookmarking sites like Technorati and Delicious.

To subscribe to it, ... to receive automatic news updates, as we've already described, we've placed subscription 'chicklets' around our pages, like the MyYahoo one at the very top of this page, and some others, such as Newsgator, in the page footer.

To add our news headlines to your 'Newsreader' of choice, click on the corresponding 'chicklet'.

Being in the RSS or Atom format our News is compatible with anything that takes a 'feed'. This often includes e-mail clients and webmail clients. You can also visit our Newsfeed on your mobile.

So, whatever you use, to receive our headlines, ... just click on the ones you like the look of ... and then read the full article/discussion, and perhaps interact.
