A good way to help MESOMOCO CIC, is to, spread the word. Tell people about this Community Interest Company, and about this website.

Say to people "Have you heard about that great new idea, ... there's this mental health improving, unemployment busting, high-tech, social enterprise, ... worth taking a look at, worth supporting ... www.mesomoco.org.uk"

Or, if that's a little long winded, try the enigmatic approach ... looking shifty, approach anyone, and in a hushed voice, say, "Hey, sshhhh, ... I got a secret to tell you, ... look for MESOMOCO on the internet ... pass it on ...", then keep looking shifty, and silently walk away.

Money, we need money, ...  start-up working capital.

More than anything else, our asset locked non-profit social enterprise needs funding.

So far, we've paid for things like; domain name registration, webservers and hosting, the PO box, broadband, and Companies House CIC (limited liability Community Interest Company) incorporation; by emptying hundreds of 1 and 2 pences from the, 'loose change savings jars', of philanthropic friends and family; or digging down the sides of chairs and sofa arms for escaped pound coins wherever we visit! We even sold a beloved bicycle (our only means of transport, other than the bus.)

We now need your help, please!

To get up and running, and get ourselves, and others like us back into work ... peer-supported work, in a therapeutic, mutually understanding culture and environment ... we need 'working capital' ... we need funding.This will allow us to operate our non-profit business until we are able to pay our own way.

We'll take the 'working capital', build our social enterprise, and then, we'll pay it forward.

Eventually, we'll multiply this money many times, and pay it forward. Because we're a non-profit social enterprise, rather than a charity, we'll not just take your money and spend it, (and then come back for more), we'll take it and spend it on making more of it! And, at all times in the process we'll be helping the good cause. 

Unlike a charity, there'll come a time ... when we'll become self-sufficient, and self-funding. We aim to then: continue to grow, doing even more good in our social mission; and we'll likely make a surplus of money ... which we'll pass on to other non-profit organisations, (charities, trusts, and social enterprises with similar remits), to fund their endeavours.

You'll be helping to start up an organisation that's commited to meeting social, economic, and psychological needs.

We aim to do good in so many important ways.

You'll be helping people get out of the incapacity benefit trap, and back into work.

We want to get people out of that, 'life-force energy sapping', benefit trap; we want to use enterprise as therapy, as part of a rehabilitation process ; we want to help people feel like they're once again making a contribution; we want people to be able to explore being back in the work environment; we want to create jobs for these people; we want to create an enterprise where the culture, environment, atmosphere, leadership and management is 'designed', and organised in such a way, as to be conducive to a sustained improvement of the social, economic, and psychological well-being of its people.

Together, with your support, we can make a real difference to some disadvantaged peoples lives...

Lives that due to fate, circumstance, and position, are often beleaguered and blighted by repeated misfortune.

If we can improve the outlook for just one person with mental health problems, reduce their suffering, increase their independence ... and lift them up into a healthier place ... a maintainably, sustainably, healthier place ... where they have a real chance to contribute and enjoy the same choices, opportunities and freedoms as everyone else: then we'd have done okay, ... but we intend to do great.

To be a massive success we'd have to improve the outlook for many people; and also inspire others to do the same, by being a model social enterprise, a 'blueprint', and 'road-map' for others to follow. That is how much influence we intend to be, that is how much good we want to do. We also want to show exactly what can be achieved by people who are often rejected, sidelined, shunned, and misunderstood; people who not only suffer from an illness, but from misconceptions, assumptions, and prejudice. We want to positively change the lives of a great many people like this; people who are disadvantaged, yet, have so very much to offer.

You'll be helping us to give them the time and space they need to become comfortable in the work place; to develop self-confidence, self-esteem, self-respect and self-belief; to prove themselves, gain coping skills, technical skills, contribute, and make their mark on the world; and once again find meaning and direction.

Money is just one way to help us, as we said above, spreading the word is important, and there are other ways too...

You can donate money, but also you can donate your time, your expertise, your knowledge, your skills, your facilities, your space, your resources ... training, ... licences ... or anything that'd be useful to a start-up business. Thank you ever so much.

If you'd like to give MESOMOCO CIC a gift to help it get started, you can make a donation by cheque. Please make cheques payable to 'MESOMOCO  CIC'. Include a letter too, because we'd like to here from you, and what you've got to say. Also, state whether the donation should be treated as anonymous ... in other words you don't want your name to be mentioned in any public thank you, or published in a roll of benefactors. All personal details 'as a matter of principle and policy' are kept private, and all correspondence is handled with care, and in the strictest confidence. We won't share your personal information with anybody, ever.

Investing and buying shares in MESOMOCO CIC (with a view to making a profit, and as a way for MESOMOCO CIC to build working capital) is not possible unless you are a non-profit asset locked body, such as, a charity or trust, or another regulated and 'no private investors' form of CIC like MESOMOCO CIC.

  Above: Panic, terror, hallucination and delusion. Even people with severe mental health problems aren't always in this state. Infact, with modern medicine, and well-developed care strategies ... people who suffer like this, are able to function in the community like never before ... But rarely do they get, a real chance of, a life above the poverty line; and therefore, in many ways, they remain vulnerable.   We're are also committed to operating our social enterprise in a well controlled manner, via a process approach management system. We aim to be a ISO9000:2000 registered company. Again, this should help give you confidence in our effectiveness, and our ability to avoid wasting resources; How we use time, effort, and ultimately, how we spend your money, will be tightly focused and controlled.
